Hootsuite Named in Constellation Research’s Social Engagement & Listening Platforms ShortList™
Vancouver, BC— February 15, 2022 – Hootsuite today announced it has been named in the Social Engagement and Listening Platforms category of Constellation Research’s ShortList™. This Constellation ShortList of vendors for Social Engagement and Listening Platforms is compiled through conversations with early adopter clients, independent analysis and briefings with vendors and partners.
Constellation Research evaluated over 50 solutions categorized in the market. This Constellation ShortList is determined by client inquiries, partner conversations, customer references, vendor selection projects, market share and internal research.
“We are thrilled to be recognized by Constellation Research’s Shortlist as a leader in the social engagement and social listening space,” said Ryan Donovan, CTO, Hootsuite. “A critical component of Hootsuite’s platform is for brands to utilize social listening to understand customer wants and needs and be able to better utilize these insights to engage with them. It is truly an honor to be recognized for our commitment to helping our customers deepen their interactions and understanding of their audiences.”
Social engagement once again shifted in 2021 as consumers connected with friends, family and communities continued to connect virtually, through social media. From conversation to commerce, 2021 became a proving ground to see just how well brands could track, react and resonate with their customers.
Criteria for this list include machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to improve pattern recognition, optimize sentiment and accelerate automation as well as continued improvements to analytics and reporting. New to this list is a demand for native or out-of- the-box integrations with core marketing and customer experience solutions, including customer relationship management (CRM), customer support, customer data platforms (CDP) and marketing automation solutions.
“The Great Refactoring is among us. Organizations must reconsider how they balance business models, work/life priorities, and new market conditions. Our analysts' recent updates to The ShortList™ reflect the top vendors that matter most to our network of buy side clients,” said R “Ray” Wang, Chairman & Founder, Constellation Research. “As leaders make the tough decisions in vendor selection, we hope The ShortList™ speeds up the decision-making process and helps buyers find the right partners to enable their business success."
